Amy Millar and Kim Farlinger post big wins at Caledon Equestrian Park's Autumn Classic
Another exciting week of show jumping action is in the books at Caledon Equestrian Park with a pair of competitors hailing from Ontario headlining the winners' list.
Millar and AMMO Investments' Heros closed out the week's competition with a big win on Sunday (Sept. 16) in the $25,000 Grand Prix - presented by RAM Equestrian.

Heros and Millar, who hails from Perth, Ont., shined on the course by Canadian course designer, Joey Rycroft, beating out a starting field of 33 competitors for the win.
Orangeville's Kim Farlinger and Stanley Stone, owned by Sher-Al Farm, placed second in the class followed by Coeur de Lion II ridden by Hyde Moffatt in third.
Earlier in the week on Friday (Sept. 14), it was Farlinger and Stanley Stone taking top prize in the $10,000 Open Welcome. The pair came out on top in an impressive field of 44 horses and riders. Amy's brother, Jonathon Millar was second in the Open Welcome riding J Hitchcock Van Overis. Carlie Fairty and Erinus rounded out the top three.

The Autumn Classic also featured a pair of medal divisions in the CET Medal and OJHA/CET Mini Medal with classes throughout the week.
Things got started in the indoor ring in Friday in the CET Flat/Gymnastic Phase. Sam Walker and Houdini beat out Anna Bremermann and Count Bellini in second, and third-place finishers Miranda Burruano Quixote for the win in that phase of the competition.

Walker and Bremermann would also place first and second, respectively in Sunday's CET Medal Jumping Phase, giving walker the overall victory in the division. Mackenzey Nadeau and Wilby were second in the season-long overall results, with Anna Bremermann and Count Bellini placing third overall.

Isabella Brougham and Othello would start things off with a win in the OJHA/CET Mini Medal class on Friday. She was followed by Reese Tobin and Wrangler in second place. Brougham and Othello would also win Sunday's Jumping Phase of the competition, this time with Disco EK and Anisse Perrault placing second.

The pair of wins were enough to move Brougham and Othello into third place in the season's overall standings, but not enough to unseat overall champions Tobin and Wrangler. Perrault and Disco EK placed second to round up the top three finishers on the season.

Not to be outdone, there were impressive performances in the hunter rings during the Autumn Classic as well, highlight by three OHJA Handy Hunter classes on Saturday (Sept. 15).
Walker wrapped up his third big class win on the week with the red ribbon in the $3,000 OHJA JR/AM 3'3"/3'6" Handy Hunter Challenge, this time riding Broadway. Meghan McDonald and California were awarded the blue ribbon in second place.
