Hugh Graham and Knock Out 3E big winners in Fall Finale Grand Prix at Caledon Equestrian Park
The final week of show jumping action on the 2017 schedule at Caledon Equestrian didn’t disappoint, with King City’s Hugh Graham and his Kingridge Stables-bred Knock Out 3E claiming top prize in the final Grand Prix of the season.

The $25,000 Fall Finale Grand Prix ran Sunday (Oct. 1) in the park’s indoor ring, with a starting field of 21 entries. Five horse-rider combos would make it through to the jump-off, including Saint-Eustache, Quebec’s Francois Lamontange with two entries.
Lamontange would lead things off in the jump-off with Chanel du Calvaire, followed by Kassidy Keith and Crackerjack, before Graham and Knock Out 3E went to work in the second round.
The pair would post a time neither runner’s up Hyde Moffatt riding Stormin', nor Lamontange and his second jump-off entry Vigo Massuere, would top. Lamontagne would finish the day in
fourth and fifth spots on Chanel du Calvaire and Vigo Massuere, respectively. Keith and Crackerjack were third to round out the top five.
The indoor ring also featured the Rider’s Habit series on Saturday, starting with Ellah Dubeau-Kielty and Kingsland winning the first leg in the Rider's Habit Pony Medal Finals. Mackenzie Cooper and Bellagio would place second, with Lauren Sauriol riding Dream Maker taking home third prize.

And California K took home the red ribbon for that division, followed by Katie Sheedy and Chando W, and Emily Newman and Sonoma in second and third, respectively.
Up next was the children’s division, which saw Fortunio and Sasha Maniaci victorious over Ella Davison and Socialite, and Daniella McLean and Eighth Wonder of the World rounding out the top three.
The Rider's Habit Junior Medal Finals would close out Saturday’s action, with Anna Bremermann and Count Bellini coming out atop the standings by class end. Leanna Lazzari and Morrison were second with Mindy Moxey in third riding Wanderlust.
Lazzari also had a great week in the hunter ring, winning the $3000 EMG Pony Hunter Classic with Tori Pollock’s Rotterdam on Friday, edging out Omi Enkin and Blueridge Moonbeam, and Addison McQuaker and Alexandria's Young Prince for the victory.
Friday’s action also saw the $5,000 1.35m Jumper class — Presented by Stonewood, in the Jumper 1 Ring. Sam Walker would place first and third on the day, winning the red ribbon riding Sportstal Vanderhasselt‘s Acardi Du Houssoit Z to the red ribbon, and Paige Jardine’s Anicmo to third place.

Kassidy Keith and CrackerJack finished second in the class for their second top-three finish on the week. Frank Hendriks and Dio placed fourth, with Hyde Moffat and Coeur de Lion II rounding things out in fifth out of a starting field of 11.

With the Royal Winter Fair just around the corner, the Fall Finale marks the end of another great season at Caledon Equestrian Park.
